Duwessonori, founded by Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad
Was established on 12th Rabi’ al-Thani 1418 AH, corresponding to 17th August 1997 CE, on a Sunday. The foundation stone was laid by the blessed hands of Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Yunus Sahib Punooi, who is in charge of the Tabligh Jamaat in Maharashtra. The institution offers a wide range of departments, including administration, organization, and development, with a focus on various educational programs such as Alimiyat (Islamic scholarship), Hifz-ul-Quran (Quran memorization), Nazira with religious studies, and a school system from grade 1 to 12. Additionally, it offers specialized courses like MSC IT Computer Studies, along with a library, study hall (Dar-ul-Mutala’a), and an Arabic club (Al-Nadi al-Arabi).
The institution also emphasizes extracurricular activities such as calligraphy (Khush-Nawisi), competitions (Musabaqat), and teacher training (Tadrib-ul-Mu’allimeen). Other key areas include Quranic schools (Maktab Qurania), a Fatwa center (Dar-ul-Ifta), preaching and outreach (Dawah and Tabligh), writing and publishing (Tasneef wa Taalif, Nashr wa Ashaat), and accounting (Muhasibi). The facility also provides boarding and lodging services (Dar-ul-Aqama, Guesthouse), along with a hospital, kitchen (Matbakh), and gardening (Baghbani), ensuring the holistic development of its students and community members.
